




Globecreative, one of the leading advertising and design agencies, has been appointed by xCo Events & Exhibitions to manage the advertising and brand design portfolio for The Men Show.
Planned for both Cape Town and Johannesburg in 2010 and 2011 respectively, The Men Show will be the first male-orientated expo in South Africa showcasing a wide range of products and services including: Outdoor & Adventure; Automotive; Recreational Vehicles; Sport; Gadgets & Electronics; Health & Grooming; Fashion; Property & Finance; Travel; Home & DIY.
“It's a great opportunity for us to be part of this amazing show!” says Globecreative Creative Director, Matthys Ras. “I have been waiting for an expo like this since I came out of my mother's womb! Even though I like hiking, sport and the outdoors, it was exciting to know that for once there will be an expo that doesn't brand every male as a ‘skirt-chasing Camel-man', but rather explores and celebrates the diversity of men as a whole.” To date, the response to the show has been overwhelming and any brand who is talking to the South African man will be there! The Men Show team encourages all brands participating to create a truly captivating brand experience for visitors.
As part of the branding and advertising campaign, Globecreative will also develop an Augmented Reality campaign that will be a first of its kind in South Africa! Brands that participate in this campaign will have visitors streaming to their stalls in order to complete their Augmented Reality entry form and win some amazing prizes.
